Platform policy
Prohibited Activities
Between Us exists for adults who choose each other freely. The list below is short, absolute, and applies to every member, organiser, property and piece of content on the platform.
1. Prostitution, escorting and paid sexual services
Offering, requesting, advertising, arranging or paying for sexual services of any kind is prohibited. This includes escorting, commercial companionship with a sexual component, and any arrangement where money, goods, tickets, accommodation, discounts or access are exchanged for sexual activity. No ticket, place, stay, hire or fee on Between Us ever buys sexual services or access to a person.
2. Buying or selling access to another person
Admission, capacity categories and guest balance exist to run a room, not to sell contact with anybody. Selling, brokering or promising another guest's attention, participation or intimacy is prohibited, as is charging a different price for access to a category of person.
3. Sexual exploitation and trafficking
Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, pimping, coercing or pressuring anyone into sexual activity, and any form of control over another person's participation are prohibited. Credible indications are reported to the competent authorities.
4. Minors
Everyone on this platform and at any event or property listed on it must be at least 18. Any content depicting or sexualising minors is prohibited, will be removed, and will be reported to the authorities without exception.
5. Non-consensual conduct
Touching without asking, continuing after a no, pressuring a partner or a guest, and taking advantage of anyone unable to consent are prohibited. Photographing, filming or recording anyone without their explicit agreement is prohibited everywhere on the platform and at every listed event.
6. Illegal drugs and illegal services
Supplying or advertising illegal substances, weapons, or any illegal service through the platform, an event listing or a property listing is prohibited.
7. Explicit media
No pornographic or sexually explicit images or video in listings, profiles, event pages, enquiries or reviews. Between Us is deliberately not an explicit platform.
8. Discrimination, humiliation and harassment
Harassment, threats, degrading treatment, outing anyone's lifestyle or identity, and discrimination on the basis of origin, gender, sexuality, disability, religion or body are prohibited.
9. Misrepresentation
Misstating who you are, who is organising an event, what a property offers, capacity, price, safety measures, or who else will attend is prohibited. So is fabricating reviews, demand or attendance.
10. Circumventing the platform to break these rules
Using Between Us to make first contact and then moving the conversation elsewhere in order to do anything on this list is itself a breach of this policy.
What happens if this policy is broken
Content is removed. Events and listings are de-listed. Accounts are suspended or permanently closed. Where there is a credible risk to a person, or a legal duty to do so, we report to the competent authorities. Report anything on this list through the report option in the product, through your account's support area, or through the contact form. Safety reports are handled ahead of everything else.
This policy is part of the Terms of Service, the Organiser Terms and the Property Partner Terms. It is under legal review and will be finalised with the operating company's registration.
