Hotel & venue partners

Host First Spark at Your Venue

You provide a welcoming hotel bar and suitable space; any on-site support needs a written agreement. Liliana Ioan, the German sole proprietor trading as Between Us, will organise and sell First Spark admission. JOYclub applications, technical ticket purchase and payment through its payment partner can start only after marketing planning, hotel agreements, business eligibility, legal/consumer-sale approval and event facts are ready. No tickets are available today.

Guests buy drinks, food and optional rooms directly from you, under agreed venue terms.
First Spark is planned through JOYclub, not built-in matching. Organised username sharing is off pending privacy/legal and operational approval, each participant’s opt-in and both partners’ consent for a joint account.

Independent organisers

Run Your Own Connections Evenings

Bring a professional meeting format to your city with the existing Between Us platform, operations and programme support. You run your own event business under the agreed organiser role, with your own audience, venue and ticketing.

Plan participants, seating, rotations and check-in with tools scoped to your pilot.
Your guest journey is separate from First Spark. You do not have to use JOYclub.
Tool access and sensitive opt-in matching depend on operational, privacy, consent and release approvals.

Who can run Connections?

Experienced organisers and prospective local operators are welcome. Tell us about your city, audience and plans. Venue hosts can enquire through the separate First Spark path above.

Organiser

You already run events and want to add a format where guests genuinely meet each other instead of standing in groups they arrived with.

Venue host

You have a bar, hotel, club or private space and want a well-run evening in it. You host; the format is operated by Between Us or an approved organiser.

Local operator

You want to bring Connections to your city and run the evenings yourself, with our format, tools and preparation behind you.

What you get

Our existing platform brings these capabilities together with format and programme support. Access is scoped to your pilot. Availability requires operational readiness and release approvals; sensitive matching and contact features also require privacy and consent readiness, including individual and couple consent.

Connections event setup on the Between Us event system, in English and German.

Connections Pilot

Start with one evening. We prepare your independently operated Connections pilot together, agree responsibilities and check readiness before any tools are activated. Afterwards, we review the experience before planning another event.

Tell us who you are, which city, and roughly when a first evening could work.
2. Talk it through
We agree the format details, room size and the commercial terms for the pilot directly with you.
3. Readiness and access
After written agreement and the required operational, privacy and consent approvals, eligible tools can be enabled for your pilot. An application alone does not activate access.
4. Run the evening
You host and operate. We stay reachable before, during and after the first evening.

Straight about money

A basic organiser account and listing your own events stays free.
Connections is an optional professional format and service, not part of the free listing.
Commercial terms for a pilot are agreed directly with you, in writing, before anything is activated.
No payment is taken through this website. Nothing is charged automatically and nothing renews by itself.

Where your guests are protected

For independent events, opt-in private yes/no choices, mutual matching and consent-based contact release are subject to release, privacy and consent approvals. Where enabled, one-sided choices stay private and organisers, hosts and venue staff never see private choices or match identities. Between Us-operated First Spark does not use this matching system: its applications and ticketing use JOYclub subject to approval, with organised username sharing off pending privacy/legal and operational approval, each participant’s opt-in and both partners’ consent for a joint account.

Start with one evening. Grow with us. A well-prepared pilot can be the beginning of repeated local Connections evenings. We may explore long-term local operating partnerships, a licensed network or a franchise-style model over time.

This is an ambition, not a current franchise or licence offer. No territory rights, exclusivity, franchise licences or fixed fees are offered today.

Straight answers

Do I have to move my ticketing to Between Us?: No. Independent organisers may keep their own ticketing and payment arrangements under the agreed organiser role; there is no requirement to use JOYclub. Our own First Spark uses JOYclub applications and ticketing subject to JOY-Tickets approval. Liliana Ioan, the German sole proprietor trading as Between Us, will be its contractual organiser and ticket seller. Ticket revenue through JOYclub is planned only after marketing planning, written hotel agreements, JOY-Tickets business eligibility, legal/consumer-sale approval and event facts are ready. JOYclub handles technical purchase and payment through its payment partner under verified terms; Between Us remains responsible for its own event delivery and applicable refund/consumer obligations. This website has no checkout; tickets are not available today.
Can I not just run speed dating myself?: You can. Connections combines a repeatable programme with participant management, seating, rotations and check-in. Private matching is a separate capability subject to readiness, consent and privacy approvals, not a promise that every workflow is ready for use.
Will this make my venue look like an adult venue?: No. The public positioning is a structured meeting evening for adults, written in a restrained editorial tone. No explicit imagery, anywhere.
What does a pilot cost?: It depends on the city, the room and how much preparation you want from us. We agree it with you before activating anything — there is no price list and no subscription on this page.
Is this a franchise? Do I get city exclusivity?: Not currently. We begin with a pilot. Long-term partner or licensing structures may be explored later; no territory rights, exclusivity or franchise licences are offered today.
How many people do I need?: We agree participant numbers and the programme during the pilot conversation. Your independent event does not have to follow First Spark’s 12-person guest journey.
