Cancellation & Refunds

Between Us handles no money. That makes the question simple: the provider you contract with is the provider who refunds you. Here is how that works for each side of the platform.

Event admission — who provides

The organiser is the provider and the seller of admission. Your contract is with them. Between Us lists the event and passes your application; it never sells, holds or refunds ticket money.

Event admission — cancelling and refunds

Each event publishes the organiser's own cancellation and refund terms before you can confirm a place. Those terms govern. If you cancel: the organiser's published terms decide whether and how much is refunded. If the organiser cancels or moves the event: they must inform every confirmed guest without delay and refund according to their published terms. No-shows: unless the organiser's terms say otherwise, a place that is not used is not refunded. Tell the organiser as early as you can — most will release the place to someone else.

Accommodation and venue hire — who provides

The property is the provider and your contracting party. Between Us publishes the listing and forwards your enquiry. An enquiry is not a booking. No reservation, obligation or payment exists until you and the property agree one directly.

Accommodation and venue hire — cancelling and refunds

Every listing states the property's cancellation terms before a stay can be confirmed, together with any deposit and minimum-hire conditions. Those terms govern. Changes, deposits, no-shows and refunds are handled directly between you and the property. Between Us holds no money and issues no refunds.

What must exist before something can be sold

An event may not be published until it states its date, its city or region, the admission price (or that there is none), the provider, and the cancellation and refund terms. A property listing may not be published until it states the provider's trading identity, the property type and area, capacity, an indicative price with its pricing basis, and cancellation terms. Anything missing one of these stays in draft. This is enforced, not advisory.

Complaints and disputes

First ask the provider — the organiser or the property. If that does not resolve it, contact Between Us through the contact form or your account support area, with the event or listing and what happened. We acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to answer substantively within 14 days. We pass the complaint to the provider, ask for their response, and pause or de-list providers who repeatedly fail to honour their own published terms. We cannot order a refund, because we never held the money. Safety reports are not complaints and are handled immediately and separately.

What admission and accommodation never buy

A ticket or a confirmed place buys admission to the evening described. Payment for a stay buys the accommodation and hospitality described. Neither buys, promises or guarantees interaction, intimacy, sexual activity, participation with another guest, or access to any person. Nothing on Between Us may be paid for in exchange for sexual services.
